Logitech claims (or claimed, I gave up) that they didn’t provide software or a driver for MacOS that enabled all the features that made those cameras special, because it might conflict with how MacOS deals with the built-in webcams in MacBooks and iMacs and might make Photo Booth malfunction (can you imagine that being more important than using all the features that caused me to buy a $120 camera over a $30 one?).
